ASU Los DiablosScholar Portal

Privacy Policy

ASU Los Diablos, a chapter of the Arizona State University Alumni Association. Last updated 08/20/2026.

Who We Are

ASU Los Diablos runs a scholarship and mentorship program for Arizona State University students. This policy covers our scholar portal at portal.asulosdiablos.org and the communications we send to the people in our program.

What We Collect

We collect information from the people on our roster: scholars, mentors, and board members. That includes your name, email addresses, mobile phone number, emergency contact name and phone, t-shirt size, education details such as year, major, and expected graduation, a short bio, a photo, and for mentors an employer, title, and industry. Running the program also creates records: event attendance, program requirement sign-offs, absence letters, meeting summaries, and portal sign-in records.

How We Use It

We use this information only to run the program: keeping the roster, pairing scholars with mentors, taking attendance, tracking program requirements, sending event reminders and program notices by email and by text message, printing bios in the program book and at the Stole Ceremony, and reaching your emergency contact if something happens to you at an event.

Text Messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may send you informational text messages about the program, such as event reminders and deadline notices. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

What We Share

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing. Inside the chapter, your information is visible only as the program needs: board members administer the roster, and your paired mentor or scholar sees your contact details and bio. We use service providers to operate the portal and deliver messages, such as our database host, our web host, our email provider, and our text messaging provider. They process information only to provide those services for us.

How Long We Keep It

We keep program records for your time in the program and for the chapter's records of past years, which are used for scholarship renewal history.

Your Choices

You can see and update your own details any time by signing in to the portal. You can stop text messages by replying STOP. For anything else, including asking us to correct or remove your information, email admin@asulosdiablos.org.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version always lives at this address.
